The Hidden Story
Hope Farley, Founder
For the last 15 years, I've built companies from the ground up. I've spent my career seeing potential, in people, in ideas, and in opportunities that others overlooked.
Then, at the end of last year, everything changed.
After losing the company I had poured years into building, I assumed I'd simply find another executive role. Instead, I ran headfirst into a job market where incredibly qualified people, especially women, were struggling to find opportunities that matched their experience.
At the same time, I kept asking myself a different question:
If I couldn't rely on someone else to give me an opportunity, what could I build with the people already around me?
I started looking at two groups in my own life.
My sisters. One is a nonprofit entrepreneur. The other is a corporate lawyer.
My sorority sisters. Brilliant women with decades of experience across industries.
On paper, we had everything: expertise, networks, creativity, leadership, and influence.
Yet when we asked ourselves what we could build together, we were surprisingly stuck.
Not because we lacked talent.
Because we couldn't see how all of our individual strengths fit together.
That's when I realized something.
Most of us are sitting on incredible assets we don't even recognize, our skills, our experience, our relationships, our passions, our credibility. We think of them separately instead of as capital.
Hidden Capital was born from the belief that your greatest opportunity isn't always finding the next job.
Sometimes it's discovering the wealth you already possess, and learning how to combine it into something entirely new.
Because your most valuable capital was never hidden from the world.
It was hidden from you.
Take the first step. Your circle is closer than you think.
